Katie got her start in dancing through the Swing and Country dance circuits in 1995. She started her competition career in 1999 with her partner Jason Colacino, and since then has become the 2000 UCWDC Invitational Cabaret World Champion, Katie is a 3 time finalist of the U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships in the Classic Division and currently competes in country dancing on the United Country Western Dance Council circuit. She has also had the great honor of being part of the cast for Swango the Fusion, which made its debut at the Helen Hayes Theater in February 2004.

Katie recently moved back to California but is available for privates lessons when she visits Dance Manhattan from time to time.
