Jonathan began his dance career at the age of 19 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Since then he has trained wedding couples, social dancers, and taken his students all over the US to compete. Jonathan spent 3 years competing in American Smooth, but has a love for rhythm and latin dance as well. He has trained with numerous champion competitors and inspirational teachers.

He puts an emphasis on the joy of learning to dance no matter what the goal. He takes great pride in his teaching and his students and believes that everyone can be taught to hold their own on the dance floor.

Dance Manhattan is thrilled that Jonathan is joining us and excited that he will, along with his other classroom and private lesson responsibilities, help create a Same Sex Dance Program here at our studio, beginning in July 2012.
